Presentations

Jim Strahle will come to your school (3rd grade or above) or organization/event and give a cartoon presentation. The audience will draw along with him. They will learn how to create their own characters and to have their drawings display emotions and moods. 

Your First Cartoon Strip

Where space is made available, Jim offers a five week class (one hour per week) where the students will write and illustrate a full color, suitable-for-framing,' cartoon panel or comic strip.  Class must have at least six and no more than 15 students. Ages 3rd grade and up.

Your First Book

Where space is made available. Jim offers a six week class where the students will write and illustrate a full color, 8" X 8", 20 page book (12 drawings). The class meets one hour per week (there is an extra week between the 5th and 6th week to allow for printing of the books) and at the end of the course they will have a life-time keepsake of their first book. Class must have at least six and no more than 15 students. Ages 3rd grade and up. Cost: $70 per student. (includes cost of book printing)
